As discomfit as it is to state, I used to work for Sears in Jackson, manuscript which well(p) so happened to be one of their department hold ons to close. to begin with work for them it seemed as if the store was doing well and was prosperous, especially when I look at the fact that they had been there since before I was born and that was just about 30 years ago. For some years, this was a place that everyone chose to shop, both young and old. For years working in the retail industry, I thought that it was a beneficial place to go including the benefits that they offered, they were conditionable. I was hired as a customer service representative/cashier and it was devout in the beginning but just like many opposite jobs out here, the always start off good and interesting.
A week after Christmas Day, many of us were at crime syndicate watching the news when we became aware of the possibility of the store closing. We had to attend an additional 48 hours before we were to learn the fate of our store. afterward that 48 hour waiting period, we all learned that the store would be closing.
This came as both a shock and non surprising to me because for the months prior to the information, I had been noticing that many employees had been engaging in unethical practices which I believe played a spacious role in the overall fate of the store. From the outside facial expression in, it was hard to realize that a lot of the stores shrinkage was overture from not only customers returning items but also repayable to employees stealing from the store. This sent off a red flag to me quick because I had never worked for a company that was just about open to inside theft. A big reason for this theft is because this was a place that did not stress good ethics in the workplace.
