The Soviets thought that the United States would never throw southwestward Korea so, the Soviets supplied the North with many weapons and artillery to takeover the secern Peninsula.

The North Koreans were planning a surprise attack upon South Korea on June 25 across the 38th parallel. It took North Koreans no time at all to get deep into South Korea. They pursued in their harsh random attacks until the South were lastly fed up. South Korea got very upset because of these random attacks and asked the Americans if they would abet them and intervene.
