Shortly before the April 9 anniversary of the advert of Baghdad, the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the economy had shed 232,000 jobs since the beginning of the year 80,000 in March alone. With that, the national unused rate rose to 5.1 percent, the highest since the post-Hurricane Katrina month of September 2005. But the latest losses arent confined to any one region or industry.
