Transformation
Throughout human existence, human beings take a crap progressed from savages to graciousized people through engineering, knowledge, and experience nonwithstanding what would get hold if these aspects of human culture were snatched away from mankind? In William Goldings novel, Lord of the Flies, he portrays this answer through a microcosm. When a group of boys are stranded on an island with no technology or formal knowledge, they slowly start to digress from civil school boys to outright savages who strive for survival. During the novel, the group of stranded boys segregates into dickens groups; one group whose main take is to get hit the island and signal for help which is lead by Ralph, while the some other group which is led by Jack whose main interest is to hunt and survive on the island. It is visible to the reader of the novel, how Ralphs tribe stays civil in the sense that they book rule through some sort of government while the other tribe becomes savages through their violent actions and their impulsive thoughts but it is additionally visible how both these groups change from what they were in their sphere before the crash, to what they are now.
In the beginning of the novel, both tribes were not segregated and were one group who would work upon trust and team up work but it slowly digresses to a selfish either man for himself brawl. It is seen how the boys digresses from civilized people to savages through Jacks changed heart toward hunting, the creation of tribes, the loss of the conch, and the hunting of Ralph. These actions performed by the members of the island pop off due to their changes from civilized people to savages and would not have occurred if they were in their primitive environment; their homes.
