J.D. Salingers Catcher in the rye whiskey is a clean narrated by the main character and hero Holden Caulfield. At the split of the book, the reader learns that Holden is currently in a mental hospital in southern California. He wants to tell us more or less what happened about a year before this time when he was expelled from his last school, Pencey Prep in Pennsylvania. Holden appears to be very clever with having to leave as he feels that everyone in that school as phony. He leaves Pencey and starts his journey to New York, where his family lives. But he doesnt want to go home yet, so he manages to spend the night in a dilapidated hotel, energise drinks with ugly women, hire a prostitute to talk, and get into a fight with her pimp. In the next couple of days he goes out on a date with an old acquaintance, crack cocaine Hayes. Holden manages to scare her off with his awkwardness so hes left alone. He finally goes home to see his sister, Phoebe. He informs her that he wants to leave home for good, but Phoebe has former(a) plans in mind. This is where the story ends, Holden Caufield tells readers that he wont go into details about him going home and how he got toot.
