Antigone

In Antigone, Sophocles writes about Antigone rebelling against Creon. Antigone must go against the law in order to do something she believes in. Knowing she will face the consequences, Antigone follows her flavour and beliefs. In general, most people find it difficult to deny their feelings. But in my birth like Ive discovered how my emancipation in my feelings and beliefs helps me uncover more about myself and what Im capable of.

In Scene 5, Chorogus confronts Creon, who tells him to rescue Antigone, Creon states, It is hard to deny the heart (5.100). Creon, the bloody-minded king, wishes not to go against his own beliefs of what appears to be right. For example, I own a great tendency to follow what I telephone is right instead of depending on others opinions. When choosing between schools, my parents industrial-strengthly suggested that I go to a charter school, even though I wanted to go to a different one. It acts as an advantage because it mentions that you cant sway to others opinions so easily. It also acts as a disadvantage because its plausible that you commit to the wrong idea or survival and nothing has the ability to alter your mind. If your heart seems inflexible to others opinions it stands a possibility to result in a perilous state. For example, a friend of mine never depends on others; instead she stands profligate in everything she argues, with no doubt. In one situation, I attempt to reverse her choices, but she refused to listen. She was not allowing herself to deny her heart. In conclusion, the consequences of her actions injure her because she was not allowing herself to change.
