office 1: Using the interesting method to act upon quadratic comparabilitys from India. personally I did not find this method any little confusing than the other methods I confuse learned about, I am not even sure I have a good understanding of this math, or quadratic equations.
A) x2-2x-13=0
hightail it the constant term to the right side of the equation:
x2-2x=13
figure severally term by four times the coefficient of x2
-42x=413 or 4x2-8x=52
Square the coefficient of the x term and add to twain sides of the equation:
4x2-8x+4=52+4 or 4x2-8x+4=56

(4x2-8x+4) = 56 or, (2x-2)2 = 56 or, 2x-2= 56 e.



2x-2= +56
Set left side represent to validatory self-colored root of right side and solve for x:
x= (2+56)2 2x-2= -56
Set left side equal to negative square root of right side and solve for x:
So: x= (2+56)2 x=116 or x= (2-56)2 x=-108

C) x2 +12x-64= 0

Multiply each term by four times coefficient of x2

Square the coefficient of x term and add to both sides of equation
4x2+48x+144=256+144 or, 4x2+48x+144=400
Take square root of both sides
4x2+48x+144 = 400 or, (2x+12)2 = 400 or, 2x+12= 20 or, 2x+12= +20
Set left side equal to positive square root of right side and solve for x
x= (-12+20)2= 4 2x+12= -20
Set left side equal to negative square root of right side and solve for x
x= (-12-20)2= -16
x=4 or x=-16
