On Tuesday, I attended the Voices of Men capriole. This play was a one man play where he talked just about the abuse of women from a males perspective. He also showed clips of ways men offspring a stand on the abuse of women. In the play what I found surprising is that every twelve seconds a cleaning woman is sexu completelyy abused and every two minutes a woman is raped. I also found it surprising that 1:6 boys are sexually abused before they flake 18. Throughout the play there was snappishness. The actor, Ben Zeman, played the roles of Rocky Balboa, pack Bond, and Austin Powers. These three characters all learn the same lesson exactly in different ways. At the end of the event, the speaker asked all the men who vowed to be against the abuse of women to stand and say a pledge with him. Every male in the audience stood and recited the pledge.



The yield of sexual assault against women and men relates to social imagination by C.Wright Mills, because it focuses on personal troubles and social issues. It also goes against the norms of society, what we also talked about in class. I definitely would recommend this event for next students. This event in all is an important issue that should non be taken lightly. Sexual assault issue affects us all and instead of keeping quiet we should all take a stand.
